SYNOPSIS:
Before I write anything about the story, the best dialog I loved in this entire manga is : “He only appears before me, he is the man just for me”

Now moving on, this manga is based on the story that takes place in Lamp town. Lamp town, a town basically having lamps everywhere, lamps are hung outside one’s house on the road, literally everywhere. The town is built in tires and the lowest tire consists of old constructed houses that aren’t used anymore, in other words it’s abandoned and dark. The protagonist, Oregano (female) who used to live with her grandmother, comes to this town where her brother is working. The moment she entered the town, she came to know about the spirits lurking in the darkness. These spirits feast on human souls to make lamp from souls for their own, after the construction of the town countless human lost their souls to these spirits. Oregano being curious went into darkness and met with a spirit but the spirit didn’t took her soul at first. They became close friends and slowly a romantic relationship developed between them.

MY VIEWS: A perfect story for the feast of my heart and an awesome art for the feast of my eyes. The story just amazed me when The spirit and oregano had a happy ending and it seemed so natural the way the story unfolded. The character layout is good, the relationship between Oregano and her brother is described in an effective way. The story about how the spirits of darkness are born is also described. Nothing is exaggerated or rushed, the manga is short but still it showed the story in an effective way. No confusion in the story either.
The relationship of Oregano and the spirit of darkness is illustrated in a cute way, anyway I hate her brother’s character until the reasons behind his actions were shown.
STORY: 9.8/10
CHARACTER LAYOUT: 9/10
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT: 9/10
OVERALL RATING: 9.5/10

P.s I do things other than only desudesu desu (Sorry Tapati, I included this for fun. Lol)
