MANGA: “THE HANDS THE DEMON ADORED” REVIEW
ALTERNATIVE NAME: HANDS FOR A DEMON, AKUMA NI ITSUKUSHIMI NO TE WO
GENRE(S): DRAMA, ONESHOT, ROMANCE, SHOUJO, SUPERNATURAL
AUTHOR(S): TAKAGI SHIGEYOSHI
ARTIST(S): TAKAGI SHIGEYOSHI
STATUS: COMPLETED
RANK: 2318TH
RELEASED: 2012
SYNOPSIS: Before i start with the synopsis, the best dialog by the demon, i liked, “flawless long white fingers with impeccably groomed nails, it was like those hands were dancing. the way they glided apon the keyboard charmed me with their elegance. atlast i have found the ideal pair of hands”
The female protagonist Miwako’s heart broke when she came to know that her love, her piano sensei is going to marry. she was invited by her sensei to play piano in the wedding and she agreed.
While practicing piano, Miwako met a demon named Rin, the moment Rrin saw Miwako playing piano he instanly liked her hands, as he adorns lovely things he wanted nothing but her hands. He even agreed to fulfill her one wish in return, Miwako agreed to give her hands on one condition, that after playing piano for her sensei she will willingly give her hands (this made me cry desu). the demon doubted her saint nature and soon found out that she is in love with her sensei, so he created many loopholes for Miwako to fall into. He even went as far as making his fiancee disappears, but she still said no.
In the end, something unexpected happened.
MY VIEWS:
Again a perfect master piece, perfect collaboration of the story and art. Even though an one short, it showed the story perfectly. The demon even though he was possessive, in the end he did something unexpected. The beginning was good but the ending is best. As it’s a shoujo manga so basically the demon fell in love with her (spoiler) still the way their story is shown one will feel the feels.
story: 9/10
character layout: 8.5/10
character development: 10/10 (for Rin)
overall: 9.8/10
P.S.: Kshitij here, Tapati y yu no used small case? I was almost caps locked to death desu...
A Note to the readers here: The above thing was initially typed whole with all capital letters hence justifying the P.S. noted. It was further "normalized" or written in the English of the normal people by Tapati on seeing this desu.
