Anime Movie Review:
Title: Saints Young Men
Genre: Seinen(the category i chose), Slice of Life, Comedy, [Drama]
Review: First of all, let me clear up why i put up brackets over there. Although i chose the genre seinen in KissAnime and the plot kind of looked appealing, i found nothing that could put up the term seinen to use. That's why i added the more suitable genre Drama.
Plot: Jesus, tired of his daily routines being on duty as a god, decides to visit earth realm for a vacation with Buddha. These two disguise themselves as two young chaps while keeping their original appearances, and roam around in Japan in the 21st century. Their mission: exploring lifestyles of the current era.
The Comedy: Although i don't prefer comedy a lot in anime(not at all to be true), but i have to admit, if a person likes comedy, you should watch this movie. There is this one particular scene in the start of the movie where Jesus takes Buddha to a roller coaster and Buddha is scared at his limits and starts reciting some mantra to console himself and the other people are scared to their limits too when they hear a grim mantra. There are more comedy scenes too which i would say that you yourself should explore out.

The audio and sound track: It is good, not excellent though, they do not make impact to you as you go on with the anime, which i think should have been considering it as a "slice of life" genre. Although, It is not that bad too, i mean, don't watch this seriously and you'll be just fine.

Screenplay and Direction: Hands down on this one. This point was taken well care as being a comedy.

Animation quality: If you compare the animation of this movie to the new coming series and movies, you'd sure be disappointed. But considering the fact that this movie is old (2006 i.e.), i'd say, the job done is just fine

Overall: Watch this only if you are looking for a comedy anime and just lighten up yourself. And it is not a thing that is a sure recommend either. However cross the last line out, I'm not a Comedy watcher so you people better watch this and suggest others what you think.
