Mushishi Review by Shivam Bahl

Share
Name- Mushishi
Genre-Occult detective

Written by- Yuki Urushibara
Directed by- Hiroshi Nagahama

Plot:
The story features ubiquitous creatures called Mushi (蟲?) that often display supernatural powers. Mushi are described as beings in touch with the essence of life, far more basic and pure than normal living things. Due to their ethereal nature most humans are incapable of perceiving Mushi and are oblivious to their existence, but there are a few who possess the ability to see and interact with Mushi. One such person is Ginko (ギンコ?), the main character of the series. He employs himself as a Mushi master (蟲師 mushi-shi?), traveling from place to place to research Mushi and aid people suffering from problems caused by them.

My review:
As written in plot Mushishi is an anime series about extraordinary creatures so it mainly comprises of biological stuff but it's storyline makes it so interesting that those who don't like all that biology things will also like this anime. This anime's art style is like all those mainstream anime art style but because of it's unique story, whole concept looks unique. Mushishi is collection of short stories and every story has that great mystery stuff which will make you love it, but sometimes it's story gets bit slow and full of those feels which need real patience(or you can just skip that stuff :p). Every story also shows different aspects of life which will take you to real deep(feeling).Overall it is really very good and unique anime.

My rating- 8/10

Hope you like my review. Arigatou
